from the ridge above the town, where I was sweltering this morning! The hay field is ripe with this hot , sunny weather. The butterflies seem to enjoy it too, Speckled Woods and Ringlets in profusion. The poor flowers are very short lived though. Several Roe deer were in the shelter of hedges, no bog left for them.
