Butterflies.....

Another one! I am compiling a list now! I feel so priviledged I am seeing so many this year! Maybe, though, I’m just looking....

Sad news.... a tiny sparrow has fallen from the nest and landed on my drive. It kept at the side and hidden the whole day yesterday and I could take the car out and put it back into the garage. I thought the neighbours’ cats would just eat it during their night hunt. However, it was still alive this morning and mum and dad have kept on feeding it. I have an appointment later and I need the car.... I don’t want to interfere, but if I don’t I will inevitably run over it. :-(

Exciting news.... spotted the first praying mantis today! Tiny and beautifully green! I had spotted another one a couple of days ago, but it was light brown... maybe not a mantis (thanks Cabbagetree for your help).

Last, but not least.... thank you all very much for the so many stars and hearts for my pictures lately. I am thoroughly overwhelmed by your kindness.
