Baby goldfinch

The cat caught this baby bird and mauled it. I rescued it from her but it was shocked and couldn't fly. I left it for a few hours then fed it and watered it. Hopefully it might survive but I suspect not. My plan is to get it back to its parents as soon as possible.


Ps. The bird recovered and I let it go in the morning. I was delighted when it flew off.
