Skeletal mid-winter

It's only ever really just a few weeks of the year when the trees are skeletal but those weeks can feel like a very long time sometimes.  The great news today is that today is the day that the sun turns around and starts heading back our way.  Yay!  By the time I return from my northern hemisphere visit it shouldn't be too long until we start to see evidence of spring shoots, new growth and the promise that spring brings.
