Went on a day trip to Yuzawa, a town located in Niigata Prefecture and famous for hot springs and some ski slopes.

Echigo-Yuzawa Station, the town's primary railway station, has some attractions. The sake tasting room is just one of them, whose wall is lined with nearly 100 sake dispensers that look like vending machines. If you pay 500 yen at the entrance a small cup is given for you to sample sake from a variety of brands offered in the room.

I captured this sign after tasting some cups of sake; and then put the cup into the bowl as the sign said.
