Slash & burn

Dodgy idea no. 576: Having a controlled burn on one of the hottest days of the year.

Had got in some help with the chopping, sawing and humphing of a huge amount of conifer and associated frondage..and this was the ember raking.

In line with the MnoMonday challenge of 'Vices and Virtues', I was envious of the youthful vigour, filled with my own slothness and grateful for the help!!
