The pastries are looking good,
aren't they, but I tried the one with mixed berries and have to say it does not pass my test. Nothing comes close to the ones in Europe. It wasn't worth the calories. The crust was hard as a rock and the filling - a vanilla pudding tasted like it came out of a cheap package. So I will bake an almond-flour cake and add then I will add some berries. Bingo.
But we also had lunch at this French Bakery, everything else tasted very good, and very french.... quiche, bread, onion soup and salad with an outstanding french dijon dressing.
