Mellow Yellow

We're trying to do some nice things as a family whilst Asha's on holiday...so yoday, armed with cameras, water and snacks, we traipsed round the Ibicenco countryside. In the middle of nowhere we randomly bumped into a friend from church, Xicu, who was able to give us a run down on some of the local history and some of what we were looking at... fascinating to hear about a property he's developing and how they're using age-old farming techniques with a few modern twists to help sustainability.
We came home happy, dusty and tired!
Danny had the prison visiting this afternoon...the kids and I went and invested in some Catalan and Spanish books to keep Asha's reading up over the summer...

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A morning in the countryside...sooo beautiful!
2) Nate developing... he's very pleased with himself whenever he masters something new!
3) Beautiful books.
