Oystercatchers at Westport

Another lovely sunny day for my day off :-)
We went to Westport beach mid morning and had a long walk along the beach towards Machrihanish.
Fergus had a good run about at the back of the beach and for a short time, in the sea.(see extra)
Quite a few folk about including several surfers.
Home for lunch.
After lunch we all went down to the garden and Beachcomber got the hedge trimmer and trimmed a very small hedge which is at one side of our patio area, a bamboo, and another shrub. The latter two were narrowing the entrance to the garden.I then took Fergus upstairs out of the heat whilst Beachcomber mowed the lawn.
Later I went down to the garden to move a Verbena plant to a sunnier spot to see if it suits it better.
