Just go with the flow

So I tweeted Severn Trent water asking when they planned to fix the leak seeing as it had been over a month.
They said it was scheduled to be done from 2nd July. Hey - that’s today.
What I failed to see the significance of was the use of the word from instead of on.
They may as well have told me that it is scheduled to be fixed from the 2nd June.
It’s getting bigger. Will the pipe fracture? Will the geezer arrive before the geyser erupts?
