V-pug moth

My identification of this moth having been corrected by Dreich, this is a V-pug moth whose larvae feed off elder and brambles. It is not a Brindled Green.

Another lovely hot day.  Shopped in Yeovil this morning and bought a few items in the sales as well as chores like paying in a farm cheque etc.  Not much traffic about in this heat.

Chores at home and sat in the shade this afternoon trying to do the daily newspaper puzzle!
