Great afternoon in the jungle!

This afternoon we went to Hardy Gang Wood new (to us) ....... part of the Bardney Limewoods.

It was alive with butterflies ..... amazing ...... but unfortunately it had not been very well maintained ....... most of the paths were very overgrown ...... in fact at times it was difficult to see where the paths were! Such a shame ...... we probably won't go there again as it took about an hour to drive there .... we'll try one of the other woods around there instead.

We saw Meadow Brown (top L) .... Green-veined White (top R) ........ lots of White Admiral (bottom L) ...... Ringlet (bottom R) ........ there were also Small & Large White & Comma butterflies ..... hope you like my choices :-)
