My art piece so far

I am painting a picture of my Mother looking out of a window, however the window will be full of locks to imply that she is trapped. The picture is inspired by Salvador Dali's: 'the Girl in the Window'. The locks are going to be created in black monoprint to create a dingy and depressing mood. I decided to paint her topless to increase her vulnerability.
