Habiko at Habito
The photograph is deceptive, but this is an innovative, kinetic sculpture designed by a local Thai artist called Wit. Computerized, it changes shape everyday and has an almost unlimited number of forms.
The artist took inspiration from the pinart executive toy that was popular in the early 90s. The one that people squashed their hands and faces into.
Commissioned by the architect who developed this newly-built, suburban area. The statue celebrates the fact that the area is still developing.
Great idea!
