Last weekend I met a photographer-friend so she could show me how to appropriately use the settings on my camera. Turns out I need a different lens to get the kind of photos I like. So I borrowed a lens to make sure I liked it before I purchased it. Here is a shot of my sweet boy while I did some practice shots (greatly resized down...blip does not like uploading pictures shot in RAW form).
