little quilt

I have got into a new rhythm with the hot weather. Up early to work in the polytunnel in the cool of the morning, and maybe mow for a while. The heat of the day is spent indoors with me sewing machine. My little sewing room upstairs is really hot so I brought everything downstairs to work where it's cool and bright and there's a delicious breeze blowing through. 
The scents are amazing. I dont know if the garden has ever smelled so good, my new airy sewing room is filled with its wafting fragrance. 
Evenings it's outside again, to water what needs it, to mow on or do some weeding. And at night we sit out and watch the stars come out.

This is the project I've been working on, a small fleece backed lap quilt.
