Leek Tunnel Sunset

Rosie and I had a relaxed start to the day before a short drive to Nottingham University where Rosie is staying for a short uni tasty residential course.

It was then on to the boatyard near Stoke on Trent to drop the car before getting a taxi to catch up with Annie on the canal boat. An easy meeting point in a set of locks and I was soon onboard. After two hectic days, the change of pace down to a maximum of 4mph is lovely.

Tonight we’re moored at one end of the Leek Tunnel. We’ve already been through it and back again. A beautiful sunset ended a lovely day.
