I’m horrified yet again

We have had a wonderfully restful day sitting out in beautiful Machiasport summer weather. Listening to music, laughing with T’s sister and niece, an idyllic vacation day. It’s been really quiet on the tidal Machias River below us, so when I heard the sound of a boat approaching I went to the edge of our deck with my Nikon and my 300mm and hoped for a quaint lobster boat shot for my blip. Instead I saw a small rather official looking craft with the telltale green stripe, Border Patrol. What is happening in this country???

This day came warm/hot and sunny with a beautiful salty breeze off the river.

All hands jolted into reality on our Maine vacation for the second time.
