meeting of friends...

It was Book Club tonight, something that we have been nearly enjoying for six years. A Fine Balance was the book, which I loved for many and varied reasons. One of the discussions was 'what makes a family?' In our group of six women who are all within a few years in age, we have one married with no children, one with two children in their twenties, one with two teenagers, one with two young adopted children, one with a blended family of four boys and me - a complex blend of seven.
