Ankle

It was young N’s last 5 a side game with us today. Tomorrow is his last day at the OU. A shame. But a really close game. We managed to get him a final win by 1 goal after an hour.
Two or three hours later, my ankle started to hurt. It was painful driving home and then very painful at home. Put it in cold water and ice and anything else I could think of. Pretty badly swollen. Was thinking that I would have to get C to take me to A&E but, after finding some ibuprofen gel, it started to become a bit easier. Cried off from Friday’s football and Saturday’s tennis and planned on working from home on Friday.
Spoiler: much better on Friday and fine by Saturday. Played Sat’s tennis with no pain at all. Bizarre.
