Cosmos

Well we finally had some rain and quite a bit of it.  So good for the garden and allotment.  It was also nice to take the time catching up on some of the  indoor tasks that get neglected at the moment.  By late afternoon the rain had cleared away and I ventured down to the allotment, so nice not having to water anything, just some weeding and picking of courgettes, chard , rhubarb and the remaining strawberries.

The Cosmos plants, courtesy of a friend, are also on the allotment and beginning to flower and this one is a very pretty double headed one.
