Elderberry flowers...
...ready for collection.
Today was a day in the garden. I felled two trees and chopped them up and took all the bits away. Then it was on to the elderberry flowers. These needed collecting before we go away tomorrow for our Tai Chi course. There isn't time to turn them into elderflower cordial or wine but we dropped them in the freezer to be dealt with later. It was only after I'd blippedthis that Jan published her blip, of me picking elderberry blossom!
Modifications were made to the IKEA shelves to make them even better as kayak racks!
It was a lovely day, not too warm but sunny and a clear blue sky with very few bugs around.
Tomorrow we head south to the Quaker center in Rimbo, and a week of Tai Chi and meditation. We have really been looking forward to this week, almost a retreat!
I'll try to keep blipping but internet goes via our telephones and reception is not as good as it could be, out there in the forest!
