What a beautiful day sunny and warm :-)
RNLI Gala Day so really pleased that they got a good day.
Beachcomber usually avoids this type of thing but we had a wander along to see what was going on round at the harbour just after 10am and continued to walk along the park and out to the mile marker where we let Fergus go in the water on a narrow strip of pebble beach. He did go in but his swim lasted seconds.
We came back the same way and had another wander along the Gala Day stalls which were lined up along the central grass strip (with flower beds) which runs down the middle of Hall Street. We bought two plants. A bargain Hosta at £3, and a lovely Astilbe for £4.
After lunch I went down to the garden and did a lot of weeding in our little patio area and cleared out pots.
Good news in the sweep stake front France, which is one of my teams, beat Argentina.
Fingers crossed for Brazil now :-)
