Xerxes

This adolescent blackbird was born with part of it's tail missing. I watched his father feeding him for a few weeks and was worried that he was hopping around and not flying. He looked at me with delight today when the sprinkler was turned on in the evening and he had a quick shower and then got to work on the worm hunt!
