Shady Ladies

Elaine is staying for a couple of days after missing my birthday last week when she had some sort of cold/virus.
As Mr P has a compromised immune system he has to avoid coming into contact with anything that could cause him an infection so she kindly stayed away.
Mr P went for an early run and Elaine and l went to the food market in Ilkley.
Bought seeded sourdough, some bundt cakes and l bought an angelica plant from the herb stall.
Saw one in an open garden yesterday and it went straight on my must have list.
Then we strolled up to the grove where Elaine bought a linen shirt and some rather expensive sandals even though they were in a sale!
I bought a sweatshirt from fat face and a liberty scarf in a charity shop for £20, sounds expensive but checked online at the Liberty site where it would have been £145!
So Mr P has bought me it as an extra birthday present.
Got the bus back to the village and couldn’t resist calling in at The Red Lion for a pint of bitter shandy.
After a bit of grilled haloumii and some sourdough we have had a walk through this shady pathway to the river and back.
Now gearing up for more football and l’ll be prepping dinner after a quick look at your journals, l’m a bit behind but will catch up this week.
