Granddad’s Boomerang

Part of my family history, this ‘7’ hunting boomerang was brought to NZ by my grandfather, many years ago.

I spoke to a ‘panuman’, a wood expert, when I was in Uluru and will be sending a photograph of this boomerang to him, for him to identify the timber, and hopefully it’s age.
I think that the wood is from a Mulga tree, but time will tell!
