The Bear and I are currently in the company of my lovely sisters, enjoying the summer sun. Tonight A made an incredible dinner, all items from the Venice to Istanbul book: chicken with apricots and almonds, pilaf, butter beans and Greek salad. It was seriously, seriously delicious. 

Earlier on we enjoyed the dappled shade of a woodland walk, with the Bear in a sling on my back.

It is a pretty rare thing that a British summer feels so summery!
