Hot Shots .....

A busy day with a difference.
The silage team arrived in to start chopping and hauling from down the road. A different team this year, 4 New Hollands and 2 big John Deeres carting and a big John Deere self propelled chopper. By tonight there is only 30 acres left to chop.
It is nice stuff, but we are going to be short on bulk as the dry weather has affected grass growth.
Left them to it and took Littlemiss to a shooting competition at Lauder , in the grounds of Thirlstane Castle. They were competing at 50m , then back tomorrow for 100 m .
By the time we got back tonight , the only silage related damage was when a trailer backed into the tele-handler and burst the air con radiator. The joys.
