Stained Glass

My husband was spending the morning with our son and Leo was feeling much better (he thanks you for the good wishes as he struggled through his itching episode!), so I grabbed my iced coffee and headed out with my camera.  We're in the middle of a heat wave, so I didn't want to go too far away.  I went to a local, city owned nature area that comes in handy for bird and insect blips.  As I was leaving, I stopped at what I think is a buttonbush.  It was full of bees, and this one swallowtail butterfly.  I was moving around the bush to cut down on the sun glare, when I got lucky and the butterfly was positioned between me and the sun.
