Camfest 2018

Last year our lace group were invited to join in an Arts and Crafts festival in Camberley. A mixture of arts and crafts individuals/groups displayed their work in an empty shop unit in the town centre. It was the first one and lessons were learnt. So this year we were invited again. The location this year was in the Council Chambers of the Local Authority - not a central place for footfall. We had a trickle of people through the day ......

A lovely day doing lace (remembering what to do as I haven’t done any for about 3 months!).

A strange/weird thing happened, a couple f ladies were looking at the work (one more interested than the other). The one that was not so interested decided it was funny to turn over all the cards that relate to “do not touch”. I wouldn’t mind but she must have been in her 50’s/60’s!

On another note, Calebs chair for the pushbike was fitted and he had a little ride out with daddy - he really enjoyed it :)
