Opium!!

A fabulous day.... ended with a trip to the poppies!! How many fields?! We checked them all out. The tank only just made the tiny up hill back road at one of the locations! Phew..... Anyway. This field is not quite in full bloom, so we will be back! I've added a few from 2016 I took Nr Winchester in full bloom! It just takes your breath away! These poppies are only grown under licence (not matter what you read or hear) and are purely for pharmaceutical use to make Morphine etc for medical purposes! (If that's the right words. But you get my meaning) they're certainly NOT grown for the seeds to go on your bread!!
