Armed Forces Day

Today is armed forces day while at home this morning I heard the Lancaster fly over a couple of times and missed it both times then about 5 minutes later I heard it again so managed to dash out and capture it this time. It was doing a flyover the city to celebrate armed  forces day before heading of to do displays in other parts of the country. It is a lovely sound it makes and it looked so nice against a lovely blue sky. A couple more shots can be seen HERE i was a little unsure which to blip but think I made the right shot as I prefer the angle of this shot.
This afternoon and evening a feast of sport world cup football and a super league rugby match. Hope your all having a good weekend time to enjoy a few beers this evening .
