Henry the ferret

This morning I took Inge to her violin lesson. After that, we went shopping for Tim, my cousin Lisa’s newborn son. We went to visit them in the afternoon. Unfortunately, we completely forgot the cute outfit we bought for Tim. We all had a good laugh about that and concluded we have a good reason to visit them again soon. Of course, Tim’s dad Chiel was also there. He is a biology teacher and has all sorts of interesting animals, like snakes, gerbils, frogs, giant snails and ferrets, like Henry here in this shot.

But before we even went to see Tim, Inge got her new bicycle. Another step towards her new school. She likes her bike, but she’s not looking forward to saying goodbye to her primary school...

When we had returned home, Martine’s sister Jannie called and proposed to have a barbecue. Always a good idea! The day ended with a 5km walk and the football World Cup games.
