Molly - the 6th bridesmaid

On return from Dumfries in glorious sunshine I hit Edinburgh haar about 5 miles out. It persisted throughout the day while the rest of Scotland basked again in sunshine.

It was a shame for one of our daughter Lizzie’s school friends who was getting married today. While it was dry and fresh it was not the sunny day they had hoped for.

The bride had three sister as bridesmaids, 2 school friends as well ( one of whom was Lizzie) and the family dog Molly who was allowed into the church and walked down the aisle. The Minister was not the only one with a collar that day.

I was not able to join the wedding but my wife and I attended the evening reception where Molly also attended and even was on the dance floor. She’s always been a gentle patient soul and coped well with the noise. The band were great - but deafening.
