After a jaunt round the shaded Plean parkrun, we headed to Gargunnock to dump a car and continue to Fintry. From there we climbed up the lava terraces to this peak and then followed the edge of the northern Campsie escarpment over Carleatheran and back to Gargunnock. Tough underfoot, even in the dry with lots of tussocks and heather.
