Silly sights at Slimbridge

Thanks to Admirer for hosting Silly Saturday.

This morning we decided we would go to Slimbridge, as I won't know how long it will be until I can drive again until after the operation on Tuesday.

It was pretty hot in the sun, but we got to the canoe kiosk just ahead of lunchtime so we got one of the three shady benches, had a nice lunch, chilled and then had an ice cream before heading back.  It was so hot a cold drink was required before we left.

I have done a "silly" collage of a coot feeding one of two moorhen chicks, canoeists heading out in the midday sun, a greylag gosling just before it tugged a blade of grass so hard it tumbled down the slope, and a young lad just about to find out flamingos bite when you feed them from your hand!
