KING AND QUEEN AND ME

Last week we had seen this pair in Herstelle and I loved to go there today to take pictures for silly saturday.
The weather was sunny all day, but there blew a wind from the East.
We had a lazy day till late in the afternoon and then we decided to cycle to Wuergassen, cross the river Weser at the end of the village. The bridge over the river is very high and there are nice views down.
At the other side of the river lies the village Herstelle and the giant pair was still there. Perhaps it had someting to do with the Schuetzenfest, I don't know.
I am 1m75 high, so you can if you want count how big the giants were.
For our return path we choose to cross the river with the ferry (for pedestrians and cyclists alike) and with the wind in our face we cycled home. The last 100 meter are steep and part of it we had to walk.
