Apricot tree

Our little apricot tree is not so little any more. It was a birthday present for me about five years ago, a dear little plant in a pot. But it keeps on growing! Normous prunes it heavily every year and although it is a lovely shape at the moment, he will get his secateurs to it before long. Sadly no apricots this year because "the beast from the east" killed the blossom.
Pruning and clearing seems to be the order of the day for gardening. Our garden bin is already almost full, having been collected on Thursday. They won't be emptying it again until Thursday week. Meanwhile what do we do with all our rubbish?
