On the shady side of the street

We sauntered into the village this morning along the side of the street that afforded some shade and headed for the sir conditions supermarket. The shop needed thorough investigation while we cooled off and harnessed some energy to saunter back to our Motorhome. The temperature has been 32 degrees today and a further 4 degree increase is forecast for tomorrow. I don't think we will be going far. Outdoor cooking, lots of salads and delicious fresh fruit can't be bad.
The main picture is of the market square and the extra is of a rather posh "cop shop" for the local gendarmes. It must have been very grand in its day.
