Flower Friday
We got plenty of rain (3-4 inches) in a 24 hour period, but seems we're not out of the woods yet. The plants and grass enjoyed the bath. Now the sun and humidity are promised for the next 6 days, with temps in the 90s (unusual to have a heat wave last this long here).
I'm late posting this as the refrigerator saga continues. After replacing parts and control modules three times and the associated fees and parts prices, the refrigerator stopped working all together. So Friday evening was spent comparing prices and delivery dates. These things always happen the day after you go shopping and load the refrigerator with perishables. Fortunately, a good neighbor had extra room for all the food and frozens.
The good news is there are lots of Independence Day sales, the bad news is that we'll have to wait until NEXT Friday for delivery. We also remembered we had a small dorm room refrigerator in the basement so we can keep a few essentials there. Wondering if anyone has any experience with LG appliances as that's what we ended up with.
Anyway, at that point it was too late to come home and cook dinner so ended up having a delicious feast of Mediterranean tapas at a sidewalk cafe in Manchester. Living rurally, the view across the street caught my eye and is in extras.
Thanks to Bikerbear for continuing this Friday theme for all these many Fridays!
