Last Leaves

I was driving back from a meeting in Stafford last night and was amazed by the colours of some of the trees near the road. I didn't have time to stop but promised myself that I would try and get back out and spend a bit of time before bad weather stripped the last of the leaves.

This small copse is at the entrance to the Cannock Chase Trekking Centre. While I didn't benefit from any sunlight the leaves still stood out from the branches, particularly the right most tree. I was equally amazed by the radiant colours from the larch plantation in the distance and hope to go there at the weekend to see if there are any opportunities for blips.
