Early Canada Day Celebrations

Friday before a long weekend in celebration of Canada Day - with a strawberry cake...nummm. Not many in the office today but we were busy. It was lovely to enjoy some commraderie & cake. My sweetie commuted with me this morning, 1st time in 6 months since his retirement. He had a dental appointment then met me for a coffee break. I brought a good friend/colleague to coffee and we had a great time. The photo on the stairs is a final shot of our lovely internal staircase as it is being boarded up and dismantled this weekend. Happy to have a relatively quiet weekend planned as we are expecting to break some heat records (45 Celsius +).
