It’s An Iceberg

What started off as a quick trip down town for cherry cones and ‘Kernow Kurls’ ended with my second visit to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall Titanic Exhibition.
With low lighting and hushed talking it tells the story well, explodes a few myths, dispels some of the theories but mostly tells the story of how the class system in place at that time meant that 3rd Class had virtually no chance of survival, 2nd Class little chance but 1st Class had a good chance.
As a Marine Engineer for thirty-five years it’s saddening to note that virtually every Titanic Engineer died.
