Ashburton view

What a hot day it has been.  We were out in Ashburton to recee a walk I was leading next week.  It started with a circular walk out along the river, through the woods with a climb out to the tops of the surrounding hills.  There were lovely views as shown in this in camera panoramic shot.  Dartmoor can just be seen in the left hand side of the shot.  Then it was back to the town for a shorter but interesting historic tour, we discovered parts we had not seen before and learnt a bit more about this ancient tannery town with its woollen and tin mining industries.
