Craig Y Nos Park is on the edge of the Brecon Beacons where we dropped Young Master M this evening for a weekend D of E practise walk. Bit daft really I’d you ask me - they’re doing Gold at the end of July so they all know the drill, having done Bronze and Silver already and really, who wants to be walking in this heat, carrying a massive rucksack?

Anyway, after we dropped him off, we stopped at this pretty park on the way home to let the dogs have a swim and a cool down. They’ve spent most of the day lying in their basket, flaked out with the heat. I know how they feel!
