Boaty Day

Did some work in the morning and then 'helped' M with his boat.  He's finally managed to get it in the water again after a few years on a broken trailer but found a small leak.  He anchored it near the Main street last night so that when the tide went out he could check underneath.  We managed to lose the car keys at one stage but a very helpful visitor with excellent eyesight spotted them in the muddy seaweedy sand.  M's repair seems to have worked so it's back on it's mooring, fingers crossed.  I have very little knowledge of sailing and boats - I tend to treat the boat as an extension of decking (not that we have that either) - a place to eat and drink nice things and take photos.  Do like the rowing out to it and back too.  There was a monster of a cruise liner in, they've got lucky with the weather.  Tobermory is really looking quite lovely in the sunshine.
