You can't keep me away

Yes, I know I said we were leaving Finland, but actually we went back there briefly today. It was basically in order to change planes for the onward flight to Edinburgh, and it was largely a rather pleasant short visit as we had upgraded to Business Class for the last leg of the flight and so had lounge access. There was a wee glitch as something got forgotten in security, but all's well that ends well, and the problem that threw up was sorted rapidly once we got back to Edinburgh.

As we were both exhausted on Thursday evening, we both slept a remarkable amount on the flight considering we were in Economy (Plus), although fitbit didn't register it as 'sleep'. Mind you, it's been a long day as we were awake at about 3am Finnish time in preparation for landing soon after 5am, and now it's coming up to 8pm UK time (where we're enjoying a nice bottle of sparkling English wine given to us by some friends who came round back in May). But we're back and in situ. Our stuff arrived about 4 hours after us, care of a slightly grumpy delivery driver. The flat seems fine. We'll get it (re)sorted gradually over the next few days. And the cranes are busy over the St James Centre site on the skyline (see extra).
