We walked up and over the hill and down through the woods to Caswell Bay. Such a beautiful beach.

We spent a while in the sea - it was cold but not unbearable, and it was strangely calm, hardly a single wave. Dried off in the sun and read our books, then walked up to the Surfside Cafe. They didn’t take card and we didn’t have much cash - thankfully we managed to scrounge together enough for two toasted teacakes and a couple of drinks.

Walked back along the coast path to Langland Bay where we had ice creams and G went for another swim. After that we were pretty tired so took the quick way home (very hilly but only about 20 minutes).

Chilled for a bit then went out for pizza and cocktails with a view overlooking the bay.
