When Fergus and I were out after dinner last night we saw Ocean Dream approaching the harbour. Later she was berthed at the new quay. As I suspected, a big ship to collect the big wind turbine sections. She even has her own cranes onboard.

This morning Fergus and I went across to Dalintober to watch the ferry leave at 7.35am. On time today. The harbour and loch were busy with boats and ships. So busy that Thalassa, the tall ship, has had to anchor out in the loch.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour, then went along by the park and Kilkerran road to the tiny pebble beach just past the milestone. I wanted to go along by the harbour to get a look at all the ships and not walk Fergus too far although it didn't feel so hot today. The little beach was ideal for him to have a little swim and get wet enough to help him cool down for the walk back home.

We came back the same way then along the street side of the park (which has some shade) and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open, with a customer just leaving with his new book in his hand).
