Summer style

With the onset of summer the shops are full of displays modeling yukata.

Yukata are the lightweight, summer alternative to the heavy silk kimono. Very stylish they are too and made of cotton. .

All that fabric still seems a bit much in temperatures of 32 degrees and 80% humidity. However, plenty of ladies wear them so they are perhaps cooler than they appear.
